About Crescendo
Crescendo helps pianists practice real sheet music. The same notation used in lessons, recitals, and professional scores.
Why I Built This
I've been playing piano for years. For a while, I used an app with falling blocks. It was fun. I learned songs.
Then I tried to play from actual sheet music. I couldn't do it.
I'd been following visual cues, not reading notation. The skills didn't transfer. I needed to start over.
I'm the kind of person who needs feedback on every step. I wanted an app that showed real sheet music, told me when I played the right notes, and let me practice whatever I wanted. My teacher's assignments. Scores I found online. Anything.
I couldn't find that. So I'm building it.
What I Believe
Real notation builds real skills.
The sheet music you see here is the same format used in lessons, recitals, and professional scores. Learn it once, read it anywhere.
