Multiple Devices

Same Platform

You can use Crescendo on multiple devices with the same Google account (Android) or Apple ID (iOS). Just download the app on your other device—if you're signed into the same account, your purchase is recognized automatically.

Family Sharing

Both iOS and Android support family sharing. When enabled, family members can access your purchased apps without buying again.

iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Family Sharing > Share Purchases
Android: Google Play > Settings > Family > Sign up for Family Library

Cross-platform note: iOS and Android are separate purchases. If you buy on one platform, you would need to purchase again to use on the other. This is a platform limitation, not something we control.

Restore Your Purchase

If you get a new device, reinstall the app, or need to verify your purchase, you can restore it through the app stores.

1. Make sure you're signed into the same Google account used for the original purchase.
2. Open Google Play Store and go to your purchased apps.
3. Find Crescendo Piano and tap Install.
4. The app will recognize your purchase automatically.

The iOS version is coming soon. When available, restoring purchases will work the same way as on Android—sign in with the same Apple ID you used for the original purchase, and your access will be restored automatically.

Refunds are handled by the platform you purchased from (Apple or Google), not by us directly.

Will I get future updates?

Yes. All future updates are included with your purchase. When we add new features, improve performance, or fix bugs, you get those updates automatically through the app store at no extra cost.

Is there a free trial?

No, we don't offer a free trial. However, both app stores offer refunds if the app isn't right for you. See the Refunds section above for details.

What if I switch phones?

As long as you use the same Google account (Android) or Apple ID (iOS), your purchase transfers to your new device. Just download the app again—you won't be charged twice.

What if Crescendo shuts down?

Crescendo works completely offline. Your music library, practice progress, and annotations are stored locally on your device. Even if our servers went away, the app would continue to function. Your MusicXML files are standard format—they're yours to keep and use anywhere.

Do I need an internet connection?

Only to download the app and import music from online sources. Once your pieces are imported, you can practice completely offline. There's no "always-online" requirement or periodic license check.

How can you offer so much for this price?

We keep things simple. You bring your own music (no licensing costs), there's no account system to maintain (no servers), and everything is stored locally on your device. This lets us focus on building a great practice tool without the overhead.

Does the price include tax?

The displayed price ($9.99 during launch, $14.99 after) is before applicable taxes. Apple and Google calculate and display taxes based on your location before you confirm the purchase. The final price you see at checkout is what you'll pay.

What happens after the launch period?

After the first 90 days, the price increases to $14.99 for new customers. If you already purchased during the launch period at $9.99, nothing changes for you—you own the app and all future updates at no additional cost.
